A chance for you to have an input into the redevelopment of one of Dublin’s best-known areas.

Members of the public have been invited to submit their views and ideas on the development of a new Civic Plaza at College Green.

With Luas operations due to commence in 2017, major traffic management changes will be required at College Green, presenting an opportunity to develop a new Civic Plaza which Dublin City Council say will be of benefit to citizens of Dublin and visitors to the city.

Dublin City Council and the National Transport Authority hosted a public discussion workshop on College Green last November and a report on the workshop, which was attended by a wide variety of people and interested parties, is due to be published shortly.

A design team for College Green will soon be appointed to develop design proposals for a new civic space at College Green, proposals which will be influence by the outcome of the public discussion workshop and submission of ideas by the general public.

Anyone interested in submitting views and ideas towards the project is invited to do so via an online survey, which will be open from 12-26 January.
