Gardaí have arrested a man following the seizure of a significant quantity of cannabis in Dublin.
On Friday morning, an intelligence-led operation conducted by the Special Crime Task Force within the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau resulted in the search of a house the north inner city.
Cannabis resin with an estimated street value of up to €33,000 was seized and a man in his 50s was arrested at the scene.
The man is currently being detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act of 1996.
