This Cork punter placed 3 bets on the EuroMillions and they all came good

It's not the jackpot but it's not bad.

It’s no €140m but it’s not to be sniffed at.

The €140m jackpot for the EuroMillions may not have been won last night but a lucky punter down in Cork still managed to win some money off the back of the draw.

BoyleSports reported that one of their lucky customers down south hit the jackpot not once but three times on Tuesday evening after their EuroMillions bets all came in.

The first bet saw the customer place €5 on the numbers 4, 5 and 27 in the EuroMillions Plus Draw. All three numbers were drawn, defying the odds of 1500/1 and netting a whopping €7,505.

The second bet was €10 on the numbers 4, 5 and 22 in the same draw. Yet again all three numbers were drawn with a cool €15,010 added to the winnings.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, wasn’t finished there as their third bet was a €1 wager on the four numbers 4, 5, 22 and 43. They were all drawn in the EuroMillions Plus draw seeing the €1 stake turn into a whopping €33,001.

The customer’s total winnings for their €16 stake netted a mouth-watering €55,516 in total.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said: “Good things certainly come in threes and hats off to the lucky County Cork customer for defying odds of 1500/1 twice and then defying the odds of 33,000/1.”

He added: “They certainly deserve a pat on the back as it’s not often you can say that you turned €16 into a whopping €55,516 in one night. It goes to show that small stakes can reap big dividends.”

It’s not €140 million, but it’s not a bad start.
