Those travelling to Tuesday night’s LCD Soundsystem gig in Malahide have been stuck in train carriages for over an hour, at time of writing.
Irish Rail have announced that “very significant” delays are to be expected between Howth Juncton and Killester on Tuesday night, due to a tragic incident occurring at Harmonstown.
Trains along this route have been suspended.
Those travelling to Tuesday night’s Malahide Castle gig, of which LCD Soundsystem were the main act, have been affected. According to reports, concert-goers have been stuck on a stopped train along the route for over an hour.

According to Irish Rail’s replies to confused passengers, the scene of the tragic accident is “extremely distressing.”
They have also apologised for “unavoidable” lengthy delays.

According to Irish Rail, Dublin Bus is accepting rail tickets for northside routes. A bus transfer is also being made available for the Enterprise service between Connolly and Drogheda.
Emergency services and Gardaí are at the scene and Irish Rail has said that it cannot yet estimate when services will resume.
