Irish Rail has confirmed that all services from Dalkey to Greystones will be suspended over the weekend, due to a fire that broke out at a signalling relay room in Bray on Friday 18 May.
The services will be out of action on Saturday 26 May and Sunday 27 May in order to allow repairs and testing on vital signalling systems to take place.
Testing on the signalling control system will determine whether normal services can resume on Monday 28 May, or if a curtailed service will continue to operate.
Due to continued delays, bus transfers will be in place between Dublin Connolly and Greystones for all Dublin/Rosslare line services.
Dublin Bus will be accepting rail tickets for DART customers to and from areas south of Dalkey, and it also advises that customers should use services from the city centre to Blackrock and Dun Laoghaire.
No services are being offered between Greystones and Bray, but bus transfers are in place. Meanwhile, services between Bray and Dalkey will be operating at morning and evening peak times, at 30 minute intervals, with journeys expected to take an hour.
