Domino’s to recruit 1,000 workers in Ireland ahead of “peak pizza season”

The company expects a busy winter.

Pizza company Domino’s is to recruit 1,000 new staff in Ireland over the coming months.

Roles will be both full and part-time and will be in a variety of positions, including in-store workers and contract delivery drivers.

Domino’s is making the hires as it gears up for the busy festive season and its first winter international football championship the small matter of the World Cup), with 700,000 pizzas expected to be ordered during this period.

Experience for the roles is not essential, as managers provide training for all levels and there are also opportunities for those looking for long-term career development.

“As we approach a very busy period with international football and the festive peak, we are excited to announce 1,000 new roles with Domino’s across Ireland,” Scott Bush, Domino’s Pizza Group, Ireland CEO said.

“We are proud to be able to offer a range of flexible in-store and contract driver roles, which may be suited to those looking for additional employment opportunities or to fit around study or family life.

Domino’s Pizza Group has 1,200 stores across the UK and Ireland and currently employs 35,000 people.
