Christmas may still feel ages away, but anyone hoping to get cards and presents to loved ones on time will want to take note of An Post's latest festive posting dates.
They’ve covered everything from standard letters and parcels to international deliveries.
With millions of people relying on them to send gifts and festive greetings to family and friends around the world, An Post is encouraging customers to post early to avoid disappointment.
The dates vary depending on where you're sending your post and which service you're using, so it's worth checking the deadlines before heading to your local post office.
For anyone sending post within Ireland, the deadlines are slightly later than those for international destinations.
The recommended last posting dates are:
Republic of Ireland
Northern Ireland
Great Britain
Rest of Europe
USA
Rest of the world
For those sending gifts further afield, An Post also offers an International Courier Service at selected post offices, with recommended last posting dates ranging from December 18th to December 22nd depending on the destination.
An Post has also advised that international delivery times are estimates and can be affected by delays with local postal operators.
You can find the full Christmas posting schedule and further delivery information on the An Post website.
