A GoFundMe has been set up to help replace "all of their belongings".

A devastated family has been left with 'absolutely nothing' following a petrol bomb attack on their home in Dublin.

Dublin Fire Brigade responded to the emergency shortly before 2.30am on Tuesday morning, rescuing an adult woman and the three children.

Two men and another woman managed to escape the burning home by jumping out a back window.

It is understood the jump caused the woman serious injuries and that she has undergone surgery in hospital.

The household, consisting of three adult females, one adult male, a 3-year-old toddler, and a 3-month-old baby, were all hospitalised and treated for smoke inhalation.

The fundraiser, set up by Inner City Organisations Network (ICON), said the family are in "urgent need of immediate financial support to rebuild their lives from scratch."

"No family should have to endure a crisis like this alone. Every donation—big or small—will bring immediate relief, comfort, and practical support to the Burkes as they work to recover. Thank you for your generosity and community solidarity," commented ICON.

Additionally, physical donations of items such as clothing, toiletries, and baby supplies are being accepted at the ICON office in Dublin 1.

Local Labour councillor Darragh Moriarty told the Irish Mirror it was a "miracle" that no one was killed.

"It’s horrific. I think it's a family of seven, a multi-generational family in terms of a grandmother, her children, grandchildren, a baby only a couple of months old. It's a minor miracle that thankfully we haven't had any fatalities," he continued.
