Donald Trump has denied referring to Meghan Markle as “nasty”, despite the interview in question being recorded.
Speaking to The Sun, Trump said: “I didn’t know that she was nasty.”
This was in response to a criticism of him made by Meghan Markle, as she said that she would move to Canada if he was elected back in 2016.

Trump took to Twitter, as he tends to do, claiming that he never uttered these words, and demanding an apology from CNN and The New York Times.
I never called Meghan Markle “nasty.” Made up by the Fake News Media, and they got caught cold! Will @CNN, @nytimes and others apologize? Doubt it!

The US President is planning to come to both Ireland and the UK in the coming week, and he has recently given his backing to Boris Johnson, saying that the former Mayor of London would make an “excellent” Prime Minister.
He said: “I think Boris would do a very good job. I think he would be excellent.”
The president added: “I like him. I have always liked him. I don’t know that he is going to be chosen, but I think he is a very good guy, a very talented person.
