Donald Trump is coming to Ireland this month

But only for a flying visit.

With the Republican presidential nomination almost in the bag, Donald Trump is a busy man these days, but not so busy that he can’t find the time to pay us a visit this month. The announcement of Trump’s visit comes only days after Taoiseach Enda Kenny branded Trump’s anti-immigration statements as ‘racist and dangerous’. When Trump last visited Ireland in 2014, his arrival was greeted with a lot of pomp and ceremony at Shannon Airport, which didn’t exactly sit well with a lot of people at the time. What sort of welcome will he receive this time around? We’ll just have to wait and see…
