Dublin Airport

High praise indeed.

An international passenger survey by users of travel website eDreams has ranked Dublin Airport as the tenth best airport in the world.

The survey, based on more than 65,000 passenger reviews, covers overall airport quality, waiting areas, shopping, and restaurants, with Dublin ranking high on a list that saw Helsinki-Vantaa named as the best airport in the world.

It wasn’t just the good airports that were ranked as part of the survey, however, with Berlin Schönefeld named as the worst airport in the world in 2016, with two airports apiece in London and New York also getting a mention amongst the world’s worst.

Commenting on the results of the survey, Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison said: “We are delighted to have been named one of the world’s best 10 airports in this new international study.

“We strive to offer our every one of our 28 million passengers the best possible experience when using Dublin Airport. This result is a huge recognition of the daily efforts of all of our employees to make each passenger’s journey as smooth and as pleasant as possible.”
