A man has been rushed to hospital following a shooting in the Finglas area of Dublin.
The incident took place around 10.30am on Wednesday (December 18), in the Woodbank area, Finglas.
A man, reported to be in his 40’s, was conveyed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown to be treated for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
In a statement, Gardaà told JOE.ie they are ‘investigating the discharge of a firearm’.
“Investigations are ongoing,” they said.
“Gardaà are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
“Any road users or pedestrians who were in the Woodbank area of Finglas, Dublin 11, between 9am and 10.30am this morning, Wednesday 18th December 2024, and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make it available.”
