Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in Dundalk at approximately 10:20pm on Monday night.
The incident occurred in the Oakland Park area of Cox’s Demesne, where a man was said to be stabbed three times.
A man, aged in his 20s, was found on the ground in the area with apparent stab wounds to his back.
He was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel and taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
