Presenter Eoghan McDermott is set to leave RTÉ after working with the broadcaster on radio and television for six years, according to reports.
A report in The Sunday World claims that an RTÉ source told the paper of McDermott's impending departure, saying it is for personal reasons.
McDermott has most recently worked for The Breakfast Show on RTÉ 2FM, which he has hosted alongside Doireann Garrihy for the past two years.
Together, they won the Best Breakfast Show award at last year’s IMRO awards.
He joined RTÉ from Spin in 2015.
McDermott's photo no longer appears alongside the show on the RTÉ website, and he has been on annual leave for the past two weeks.
JOE has reached out to RTÉ for comment.
