Tourists in Germany can purchase the Deutschlandticket (or the ‘Germany ticket’ for a price of just €58 per month, which equates to about €1.90 per day.

The ticket means you can travel anywhere in the country, from the clubs of Berlin to the beer gardens of Munich.

Even better again, the ticket covers unlimited local transport, including trams, buses and ferries.

While the Deutschlandticket is technically meant for German residents, there’s nothing to stop tourists from purchasing one.

All good things come at a small price, as you'll have to plan ahead to purchase the ticket.

The tickets are only available for the first 10 days of the month you intend to use the ticket.

Additionally, the ticket is a subscription model, so unless you cancel, you will automatically get charged for the ticket each month.
