Early reports suggest that at least 50 people have been hurt in the blast, which killed at least ten. Several other underground stations have now been closed and an evacuation is underway. Vladimir Putin is currently in St Petersburg, where he was scheduled due to meet with Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko this afternoon. He has stated: "The reasons for the explosion are unknown, so it’s too early to talk about it.
