Ah, Facebook.
We already use it to communicate with our pals, brag about our holidays and voyeuristically stalk the lives of everyone we know… In short, Facebook has already made our lives a lot more practical than they used to be.
Now the site seems determined to take that to the next level by giving us all a weather warning when we wake up in the morning.
Since when did Facebook have a weather forecast on the homepage???? ? pic.twitter.com/TGvxR8YzbV

The update is only being trialled in certain parts of the UK for now, but we can certainly see it catching on. Though, to be fair, if your friends are anything likes ours they’ll already have flooded your Newsfeed with statuses like ‘F*ck off, f*ckin rain’ by the time you’ve woken up.
Nevertheless, the fewer apps we need to consult before we decide to get out of bed the better. Just like the rest of the world had to wait for Reaction buttons, we assume we’ll be waiting a few months before Facebook’s forecasts hit Ireland.
