Nigel Farage, leader of UKIP and prominent proponent of the Leave campaign, has admitted that the “£350 million a week” that Britain “sends to the EU” will not be redirected towards the NHS, as the Leave campaign said it would.
The Leave campaign was accused of much dishonesty throughout their campaign – claims which have been proven true today by Nigel Farage’s vociferous backtracking on the issue of increasing NHS funding.
Asked about this promise on Good Morning Britain, Farage shamelessly admitted that the Leave campaign was mistaken to have made this claim and that it would not be possible to give that money to the NHS as a result of the Brexit.
The man is already backtracking on dubious promises. What have you done Britain? https://t.co/vslFdOnQgi

The big lie. If you voted based on a slogan on a bus, now you know your mistake. The NHS will not get that money. pic.twitter.com/mZeoBSXDmO
