It’s finally happening!
The first full trailer for Gavin & Stacey: The Finale was finally aired during last nights Strictly Come Dancing live final.
Ruth Jones made the terms and conditions announcement during last night’s Strictly Come Dancing final, bringing an extra special treat for fans.
The first look gave fans a glimpse into what they can expect on Christmas Day.
Scenes from the brand new episode saw Gavin and Stacey plan a weekend away with Smithy and the entire gang.
With ABBA’s ‘Mamma Mia’ setting the scene, the trailer shows a huge get together Billerricay, with Uncle Bryn looking majorly run down.
Additionally, there’s a discussion about the infamous fishing trip.
The synopsis of the long awaited finale of the beloved sitcom reads: “It’s five years since we left Nessa down on one knee declaring her love for Smithy and asking him to marry her. And a lot has happened in those five years.
“Join us on the journey to Barry and Billericay as we catch up with the Shipmans and the Wests for the very last time and maybe find out what exactly did happen on that fishing trip.”
Gavin & Stacey: The Finale will air on Christmas Day at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
