Tragic news.
A five-year-old boy has died following an accident on a farm in Roscommon.
It’s understood the incident happened around 5.40pm on Sunday when the boy fell from a trailer on his farm in Tulsk, Roscommon.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Roscommon University Hospital, where a post-mortem will take place.
Gardaí said a file is being prepared for the coroner and that the Health and Safety Authority have been notified and will carry out an investigation.
