Freezing fog over London is resulting in the cancellation of numerous flights.
Aer Lingus, British Airways, CityJet and Flybe flights due to land in London City Airport and Heathrow as well as Southampton were all cancelled on Friday afternoon.

According to the Irish Times, under European Commission Regulation 261 airlines must present passengers with alternative options including a full refund or rerouting the journey or offering a nearest available flight.
So make sure you check the latest updates form your airline before heading off to the airport.
