A number of videos of spot flooding emerged on Tuesday.
Dublin Fire Brigade was called to a number of areas in Dublin to attend to incidents of spot flooding on Tuesday.
Officials were called to parts of Churchtown, Terenure, Grafton Street, Rathmines, IFSC and College Green.

Dublin Fire Brigade shared a video showing the extent of the rain, and the affects it has had on the roads.

Another video was taken on Nutgrove Avenue in Churchtown, where drivers were urged to proceed with caution.

Drivers have been urged to take care while driving in the hazardous conditions
Met Éireann have said that tonight will be generally dry, apart from a few showers. However, patchy drizzle will develop in the southwest and west later.
