The appeal delivers gifts into the hands of children affected by poverty.
Footballers from the Northern Ireland soccer team have shown their support for Team Hope’s annual Christmas Shoe Box Appeal.
Pierce Charles, Paul Smyth and Ethan Galbraith took a break amidst their busy schedule to get behind Team Hope’s yearly festive appeal.
The Shoebox Appeal delivers gifts straight into the hands of children affected by poverty across Eastern Europe and Africa.
Since 2010, Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal has delivered over two and a half million shoeboxes to children in countries such as Romania, Ukraine, Malawi, and Kenya.
The making of the boxes follows the four W’s: write, wash, wear and wow.
Following the four W’s ensure the children get everything they need, like clothing and toothpaste, as well as gifts that they could only dream off, such as cuddly toys and musical instruments.
There is still plenty of time to build a shoebox online at the Team Hope website and help make a difference this Christmas and beyond.
