Cilla Black has died at her home in Spain, it has been confirmed.
The 72-year-old former singer and television host died of natural causes at her home in Marbella.
“I can confirm the death of British national Priscilla White, aged 72,” police said.
“We are still awaiting autopsy results but everything at this stage is pointing towards her death being the result of natural causes.”
Cilla, who also hosted the original series of Surprise Surprise from 1984 to 2001, suffered from arthritis and deafness and was said to be in poor health in recent months, turning down offers of work in the wake of a mini-series made about her life.
