Five more walk-in centres are scheduled to open soon.
38 walk-in vaccination centres are scheduled to open across the country this weekend offering mRNA Covid-19 vaccines such as Pfizer and Moderna without appointments.
Anyone aged over 16 can attend the walk-in centres for a first dose, a text message will then be sent with an appointment for dose two.
The clinics are only open on specific days and times and people won’t be vaccinated outside of these hours if they show up.
You also don’t have to register online beforehand, however, the HSE has said that doing so may speed up your time in the centre – which is estimated to take roughly 30 minutes.
If you have already registered online and are waiting on an appointment for your first dose, you can also choose to go to a walk-in clinic instead.
People are encouraged to attend the centre alone and can find more information on what you need here.
You can also take a look at the full list of vaccine centres, their opening times, and what you need to bring below.
