Garda investigate death of young man in fatal road crash in Tipperary

The incident occurred at approximately 4.40am on Wednesday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road crash on the Limerick to Tipperary Road this Wednesday morning.

The single vehicle fatal road traffic collision happened on the N24 at Lacken, Kilshane. Gardai at Tipperary Town are investigating.

Gardai were called to the scene at approximately 4.40am this Wednesday morning where it is believed the car left the road and struck a wall.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a male in his 20s, was seriously injured and removed from the scene by ambulance to South Tipperary Regional Hospital in Clonmel.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.
