Gardaí appeal for witnesses to fatal traffic collision in Kilkenny

A man in his 70s was killed in the incident.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal traffic collision that took place on Tuesday 29 October in the Shankill area of Paulstown in Kilkenny.

The incident took place at approximately 12.20pm, and it involved a male cyclist in his 70s, who collided with a parked lorry.

The man was taken to St. Luke’s General Hospital in a serious condition, but he has since passed away.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them, particularly any road users who may have camera footage available.
