The Gardaí have very little time for this kind of horseplay…
On Friday morning, the Garda Síochána Twitter account shared a photo of a van that was stopped in Dublin for not displaying any insurance.
However, it turned out that the Gardaí who stopped the van ended up finding a lot more than they bargained for.
Tweeting their own brief parody of the classic Rubberbandits hit, the Gardaí reported: “‘Stopped’ your Ford Transit there’s a horse…. INSIDE!”
“Store Street Roads Policing Unit stopped this van for no insurance. It was also discovered there was quite a large horse being transported in the back!”
The tweet further confirmed that the driver of the van was arrested.
