Here’s your weather forecast for the weekend

It’s a little bit all over the shop.

Got plans for the weekend?

If they involve being outdoors you’ll probably want to pack an umbrella, some sun cream and maybe just a rain jacket to be safe because we’re going to be treated to a little bit of everything weather-wise over the coming days.

According to Met Éireann, it will be cloudy with outbreaks of showery rain throughout Friday, with temperatures hovering around the mid-teens during the day and set to drop to somewhere between seven and nine degrees overnight.

In better news, Saturday will be generally dry for the most part and will be pretty warm, with temperatures set to reach a balmy 20 degrees in places.

By evening time, there will be some outbreaks of drizzle and light showers, but nothing to put too big of a dampener on your weekend activities.

The outlook for Sunday is not so good, with rain forecast throughout the country from early in the day, becoming heavier towards the evening before a clearance on Sunday night.

Temperatures will remain warm, however, around 16-18 degrees, as they will into Monday, with the unsettled conditions set to continue for the early part of next week at least.
