Tragic news.
A man has been found dead near Christchurch in Dublin on Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for the Gardaí have said that they are investigating his sudden death, after they discovered his body on Cook Street at 8am.
The man was in his 40s, and appears to have no fixed address.
Gardaí have said that the man was pronounced dead at scene and brought to city morgue where a postmortem will be carried out. A file will be prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
According to the group Inner City Helping Homelessness, this is the 27th death in the last 16 months.
