Gardaí are treating the discovery of a man’s body in a container in the Balbutcher Lane area of Ballymun, Dublin on Monday morning as a ‘personal tragedy’.
Gardaí have also said that the death of the man, who was in his 40s, is not connected with any other ongoing investigations in the north Dublin area.
The discovery was made at approximately 10.50am on Monday morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to the Dublin City Morgue, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out on Tuesday.
