Ireland could be unseasonably warm next week as Spanish wind approaches

Hottest Ireland

Please let this happen…

If Ireland is anything like the UK next week, then we will be receiving some very warm and unexpected weather next week.

Met Éireann do not do long range forecasts, but said “current indications for early next week are that a strong southerly flow will develop giving above normal temperatures for the time of year but with changeable weather.”

Weather chiefs in the UK are predicting that temperatures could pass 20 degrees next week.

The UK Met Office has said the rest of the UK will be “generally warmer over the weekend with sunshine and scattered heavy showers.”

But Met Office Meteorologist Sarah Kent told The Evening Standard has said that England and Scotland can expect temperatures in the high teens and possibly as high as 20 degrees in the next week.

She said: “It is going to be hotter than it has been at the weekend but as the temperatures rise we see an increase of home-grown showers caused by the sunshine.

“We also see a risk of thunder storms as it gets warmer.”

Fingers crossed we see some similar weather over here, minus the increase in showers.
