60 hours on air? We salute you…

JOE has often dabbled in a variety of different jobs before we settled on being the best Irish website of all time.

There was that time we spent on the farm scything hay, our famous spell as a stockbroker in the IFSC and also our years spent broadcasting via the radio wireless thing-a-ma-jig.

The boys over at Radiomade, lead by Jack Olohan, are trying to break the world record for the longest singular broadcast ever.

How long are they going to be on air for? Just the 60 hours.

The chatty lads are trying to raise funds for the Movember campaign, which aims to raise awareness for a variety of mens health issues.

It’s safe to say that the lads wont run out of topics to discuss.

On their agenda includes chats about; Irish music, the pubs of Ireland, relationships, drugs, dictators, bad films, gigs, getting married, porn, ex-girlfriends, tinder, school, grandparents, winning the lotto, football, Shakespeare, fears & phobias, Robin Williams, the internet and Game of Thrones to name just a few.

This is how they warmed up for their epic broadcast marathon. Heroes.

If you want to listen then you can do so here and you can also make a donation.

12 am Sunday is the finish time and JOE wishes the lads all the best in their attempt.
