Irish Rail delays

Not something you see every day.

Commuters have been warned by Irish Rail that all Dublin to Maynooth/M3 services have been suspended due to lightning damage to signaling.

They have been told to use alternative transport where it is available.

Customers for Dublin, Longford and Sligo services in particular have been advised to make alternative arrangements.

Irish Rail have also confirmed that Dublin Bus are accepting rail tickets for Maynooth/Dunboyne line.

They are working to rectify the situation, and will provide an update as soon as possible.
