Drivers have been told to “expect long delays”.
Motorists have been warned of “severe delays” on the M50 due to a multi-vehicle crash.
In a statement on Twitter on Thursday afternoon (5 October), Dublin Fire Brigade said it was dealing with the aftermath of a five vehicle collision that occurred on the J13 Dundrum Northbound.
Due to the crash, the road was temporarily closed to facilitate access to the scene by emergency services.
At around 4.15pm, the fire service wrote: “J13 Dundrum Northbound on M50 Dublin, temporary closure in place as we deal with a five vehicle road traffic collision. Severe delays on approach.”
