Man arrested after 10 incidents of burglary, theft and criminal damage in Limerick
The man was arrested in relation to four burglaries, three thefts and three criminal damage incidents at businesses in Limerick.
Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in his 40s in relation to four burglaries, three thefts and three criminal damage incidents at businesses in the Limerick area that took place between August and October in 2019.
On the morning of Thursday 17 October, Gardaí from the Crime Task Force in Limerick, assisted by Detective Gardaí from Henry Street, located and arrested the man in question.
He was arrested in relation to burglaries at two pharmacies on Dooradoyle Road and Childers Road, a coffee shop in Castletroy and a college in Limerick.
As well as that, he was arrested in relation to criminal damage at a pharmacy on Lower Gerald Griffin Street and two shops on Lower Gerald Griffin Street and William Street.
He was detained at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged to appear before Limerick City District Court on Friday morning.
