Met Éireann have issued a weather warning for tonight and tomorrow

Just what we love to see, more rain…

Met Éireann have issued another weather warning for Sunday and Monday with heavy rain expected in the south and west over the next 24 hours.

An status orange alert has been issued for Kerry with between 50-70 millimetres of rain expected to fall between now and noon on Monday.

A status yellow alert has also been issued for Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Limerick with as much as 50 millimetres of rain falling in these areas.

7v1jhAccording to Met Éireann, “tonight, there will be further outbreaks of rain in the west and southwest, heavy at times, with a risk of flooding and rain will return to many parts of the south”.

So it’s official, bring your umbrella if you’re going out for a gander tonight, because the chances are if you’re from the west or south, you’re going to get soaked.
