Met Éireann have issued a weather warning until Monday night

Alan Loughnane

Normally we would suggest bringing your umbrellas but it may be safer to leave them at home if it’s going to be as windy as they say…

Met Éireann have issued a yellow weather warning which will be in effect until tomorrow night at 9pm.

The national weather service have warned of high winds with gusts of up to 110km/h in some places with western counties most at risk of the winds.

The warning affects Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick, but we think it must have been blowing strongly down the pitch in Croke Park in favour of Kerry during the second half of their Quarter-Final against Kildare today.

Sorry Kildare fans…

While the warning is no reason for everyone to panic, it is important to be ready for the changeable weather and to be safe when out and about.

Seriously, stay calm people…
