Met Éireann issue weather advisory for three counties in Ireland

weather advisory

Be careful out there.

A weather advisory has been issued by Met Éireann. for Wexford, Cork and Waterford.

The weather advisory will be in place from 3am on Tuesday until 8pm on the same day.

Met Éireann has said that a combination of high tides, together with “appreciable, but generally sub-warning levels of wind and rain”, will produce localised impacts along the south coast during Tuesday.

No weather warning has been issued for these counties just yet.

On Tuesday, it is expected that there will be “heavy rain” over much of Munster and Leinster in the early morning will continue to extend to all areas.

It’s expected to be a windy day with fresh to strong and gusty easterly winds veering south to southeast as the rain clears, with gales along the south and southwest coasts.

Prepare your plans for tomorrow accordingly…

Brighter, more showery weather is then expected to follow later in the afternoon, thank goodness.

More information can be found on the Met Éireann website here.
