Met Éireann have issued another weather warning that will affect 19 counties.

The status yellow rainfall warning was issued at 3am on Sunday and will affect all of Munster as well Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Galway and Roscommon.

The warning is valid from 6am until midday today.

Met Éireann have said to be wary of bands of heavy thunderstorms moving up from the Southeast giving torrential downpours locally in short periods leading to spot flooding, while there will also be a risk of hail.

It will be warm and humid on Sunday, with some hazy sunshine and occasional showers.

While there will be some thundery and heavy showers earlier in the day, with a risk of spot flooding, these should become largely confined to Ulster by afternoon.

Top temperatures will range from 20 to 23 degrees, but it will be fresher and cooler along the south and east coast, with temperatures more likely to be in the high teens.
