The rain warning comes into effect tomorrow and is for three counties.
Met Éireann has issued another Status Yellow weather warning for this weekend.
The rain warning applies to Donegal, north Leitrim and Sligo and will be in place for the entirety of Sunday.
It reads: “Further showers or longer spells of rain will maintain the risk of localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.”

This comes as a Status Yellow rain and thunderstorm warning is currently in effect for Cavan, Donegal, Dublin, Leitrim, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Roscommon, Westmeath and Sligo.
Valid from 10.30am on Saturday until midnight, it states that heavy thundery showers or longer spells of rain will lead to further localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
As for next week, Met Éireann’s national outlook reads: “Continuing unsettled, with showers on most days. However, there will be some dry weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Temperatures remaining near normal for mid-August.”
