After a pretty cold couple of days, it looks set to get a lot more humid in the next few days.

2018’s Totally Erratic Weather Pattern continues on strong, following a few days of weather warnings for a few countries, and temperatures dropping to -4 in parts of the county.

Next week looks set to be a lot warmer, getting as high as 13 degrees in parts of the country, and looking unlikely to drop no lower than 3 or 4 degrees at night.

Pretty mild for November, we think you’ll agree.

Of course, all of this unsettled weather usually means we’re in for it when it comes to wind and rain, which is exactly what we should expect.

Speaking to JOE, a spokesperson for Met Éireann tells us that their prediction for next week’s “predominantly cyclonic southerly airflow” (as per their website) essentially means that there is a lot of wind heading our way next week, especially from Thursday onwards.

Before then, every day of the week has the word “rain” in the forecast, ranging from “Rain will extend to the bulk of the country overnight” on Sunday night, to “Outbreaks of rain look likely to spread countrywide for a time on Tuesday with some heavy falls in places” all day Tuesday.

But… you know… at least it isn’t too cold. Silver linings and all that.
