Tallaght native Craig Lambe has been found safe and well.
We reported yesterday that the 25-year-old had been declared missing by New South Wales (NSW) Police Force and was last seen in Kingsford, Sydney. He was missing for two days.
NSW Police Force took to Facebook Wednesday morning to announce that Lambe – otherwise known as ‘the missing tourist’ in Australian media – has been found.
Family members of Craig Lambe have also taken to Facebook to confirm the news.
In a post on her Facebook page, Ciara Lambe write:
“Craig has been FOUND!! Safe and well. We do not have a lot of info at this time but we know he is Alive & well. We cannot Thank you all enough for your help over the last few days, We are forever grateful for all the support.”
“Obviously, his mental health and well being is now our priority. The social media coverage of Craig’s case was a massive factor in discovering his whereabouts. To anyone who liked, shared and tagged we are forever grateful!!”
It’s believed that Lambe was out looking for a job and ventured to the local bank when he was reported missing.
