Three separate motorcycle accidents have killed three Irish men in the cities of Dublin and Limerick in the past 24 hours.

Two of the men died in Limerick on Saturday evening. The first man was in his 50s and died after his motorcycle struck a roundabout at Quinn’s Cross.

The second man was in his 20s and died in a collision in Limerick’s Southill. Neither man has been publicly named by the Gardaí.

RTÉ has further reported that a man died in Dublin on Sunday morning after a collision on the Old Cabra Road, which left the motorcyclist dead at the scene. A second person was rushed to the Mater Hospital as a result of the incident, where they are reportedly in serious condition. The man who died was in his 3os, and has not been named.

All three incidents happened between 7pm on Saturday and 3am on Sunday morning, meaning that the three men all died within fewer than eight hours of each other.
