The Euromillions is heading towards an astonishing €150 million on Friday night, we’re sure there’ll be plenty of people scrambling to buy a ticket for the draw.

Some of you may have been wondering where the best place to buy a ticket is to give you the best chance of being successful?

Well, the National Lottery have an answer for you.

The National Lottery has revealed its luckiest shops based on claims data from the last three decades of National Lottery games.

Top of the list of luckiest retailers is An Post in the G.P.O in Dublin City centre which has sold a massive 14 jackpot and top prize winning tickets worth a total of €15,054,036 since the National Lottery started.

Second is O’Neills Newsagents in Brigend, Lifford, Co Donegal which has had 12 Jackpot winners totally €4,993,195. Coming in third is Hickey’s of Skibbereen in Co Cork with nine Jackpots of €€7,860,445.

And Donegal features again at no. four on the list with McKenna’s Texaco in Muff scoring nine wins totally €6,123,283.

The ten luckiest National Lottery retailers in Ireland from 1988-Present are as follows:

1. An Post, GPO, Dublin city – 14 wins totalling €15,054,036

2. O’Neill’s, Bridgend, Co Donegal – 12 wins totalling €4,993,195

3. Hickey’s, Skibbereen, Co Cork – 9 wins totalling €7,860,445

4. McKenna’s Texaco, Muff, Co Donegal – 9 wins totalling €6,123,283

5. SuperValu, Finglas, Dublin 11 (Superquinn) – 9 wins totalling €3,879,613

6. Spar, Galtymore Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12 – 9 wins totalling €3,987,313

7. Ardkeen Superstores, Dunmore Road, Co. Waterford – 8 wins totalling €19,507,321

8. Tesco Nutgrove S.C. Dublin 14 – 7 wins totalling €5,020,664

9. Dalkey News Centre, Dalkey, Co. Dublin – 6 wins totalling €9,371,337

10. SuperValu, Pearse Street, Co. Cork – 6 wins totalling €8,574,413
