Emergency services responded to the scene this morning.
Gardai are investigating following the discovery of nine men in a container at Rosslare Europort.
It’s believed that the men had arrived on a ship from Dunkirk in France and had been in the container for four days.
Eight of the men are believed to be in good health while a ninth was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
RTE reports that it is believed the nine people were aged between 16 and 23 and were originally from Eritrea.
Emergency services responded to the scene at around 10.30am this morning.
The incident came to light when one of the men made a phone call leading to the authorities being alerted.
Gardaí and the Garda National Immigration Bureau are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery, and are urging anyone with any information to contact Wexford Garda Station on 053 916 5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 01 666 111, or any Garda station.
