People were hugely worried about this American weatherman’s reports from Hurricane Irma

We can only imagine how Teresa Mannion would have managed.

Hurricane Irma is continuing to blast up the west coast of Florida causing havoc with flooding, power outages as well as severe damage to property.

It has killed at least four people in Florida after already leaving 28 people dead in the Caribbean.

The storm was downgraded from a Category Three to a One on Monday morning, but there’s still strong winds of 85 mph battering the southern America state.

Six million people evacuated Florida over the weekend to escape Irma in one of the biggest evacuations in US history.

It’s thought that 3.4 million homes are without power and there’s serious flooding in many areas of the state.

In a time when dramatic news reports are big business, many TV stations had reporters and weather people on the ground to give real time updates on the storm

One of these was meteorologist and Weather Channel presenter Mike Seidel, who caught a lot of people’s attention with his reports from Florida during the hurricane.

But for God’s sake, get the hell out of there…

She raises a valid question…

With flying debris and strong winds, you have to wonder what is the value of having reporters out on the ground endangering their lives?

Thankfully, Seidel is OK as he recently tweeted a before and after photo of downtown Miami showing how much the water has subsided in the last few hours.

He’s either very brave, or something else…
