We wish we had some good news for you weather wise but we don’t…
As Cork continues to clear up the mess that Tuesday night’s storm wrought on the city, another bought of bad weather is about to hit the south coast.
Storm Ruth is currently working her way across the Atlantic and she is due to hit the lower half of the country on Friday night/Saturday morning.
The wind, and especially the rainfall, are not forecasted to be quite as fierce as the storm that passed over this week but as you can see below, it will bring some very big waves to our shores. With that in mind, coastal towns that have been battered repeatedly over the last few weeks will have to brace themselves again.

And, in case that wasn’t bad enough, after it turns colder and drier on Sunday, more heavy wind and rain is expected to arrive on Monday.
