PIC: Statue of Barack Obama and Michelle unveiled at Obama Plaza

A statue of former President of the United States of America Barack Obama, holding hands with the former First Lady Michelle Obama, has been unveiled at Offaly's Obama Plaza. Cody Keenan, a speechwriter for Obama during his time in office, gave a speech at the unveiling. Ciaran Cannon, Minister for the Diaspora and International development, shared a photo of Keenan posing with the statue, as well as Supermac's MD Pat McDonagh. A photo of the statue can be seen below. We certainly can imagine that there'll be many-an-Instagram photo taken at this site in the future.
