We’ve heard of winter storm Janus, but, according to The Weather Channel, it appears as if Winter Storm Anus is going to tear the hole clean off the United States.

Our friends in the US have had to put up with some fairly extreme weather conditions of late, from the Polar Vortex earlier this year to Winter Storm Janus, which led to cold temperatures, heavy snowfall and dangerous conditions on the East Coast.

If you thought Janus was bad, however, imagine the damage that could be caused by Winter Storm Anus, knowledge of which appears to belong exclusively to The Weather Channel if these pictures are to be believed.

Winter Storm Anus is, of course, the product of some technological malfunctions on The Weather Channel, but, just in case, those living Stateside should be prepared for the possibility of breaking winds, toxic gases, fallen log branches and general pain in the arse conditions over the coming days.

What a bummer.
